With a great eye for design, Beth was looking for something beautiful and timeless in her kitchen. With lots of natural light coming through the windows creating a feeling of warmth in the space, Beth wanted to extend this feeling and create a kitchen that was light and bright.
Beth was looking for a new light and open kitchen diner that could be separated by a breakfast bar. This new kitchen-diner would take over the current kitchen and diner that were separate rooms. The old kitchen hadn’t been replaced for a long time and needed an update.
Keen for a timeless feeling kitchen with elegance and warmth, Beth wanted a style that had traditional touches with a hint of minimalism. With light worktops and cabinetry, this kitchen had to be able to blend seamlessly into the other rooms of the house, whilst also having a memorable presence.
By pulling down the wall between her kitchen and dining areas, Beth created a beautiful and open space for her new kitchen-diner. Keen to still have zones within the kitchen diner, kitchen designer Steven added a breakfast bar area on the peninsula to achieve this.
Beth’s kitchen is a stunning example of our Vard range. Vard is the perfect mix of the classic shaker kitchen with modern stylings, a slim shaker with a timber frame. The slim frame adds depth and texture, whilst still feeling modern. The light, off-white Pearl colour pairs beautifully with the dark metal handles and the black of the appliances, creating an excellent contrast.
The light white quartz worktop with a polished finish allows the light to bounce around the room. It also adds a further touch of elegance and prestige to this kitchen – something mirrored by the painted finish of each door and panel.
The soft, neutral colour palette allows the handles, appliances, and accessories to stand out and shine. This is mirrored throughout Beth’s home - light walls paired with darker furniture and accessories in a farmhouse meets industrial styling.
Simple white subway tiles add depth and a new level of texture to this kitchen. They allow the areas like the sink with its classic brass tap to really stand out as touches of colour and elegance.
